Our process begins with a private consultation. We discuss the purpose of the garment, the way it will be worn, and the impression it should carry. Measurements are taken with precision, though equal attention is given to posture, movement, balance, and personal preference.
From there, an individual pattern is drafted and cut by hand. This becomes the foundation of the garment and is refined through fitting. Each appointment allows us to adjust the line, balance, and details before the suit is completed.
A bespoke suit typically requires six to eight weeks and over 22 hours of work. The result is not simply a better fit. It is a garment made with intention, shaped around one man, and built to become part of his life.

We work with respected mills and merchants from Italy, England, Italy, offering fine wools, cashmere, silk blends, linen, cotton, and rare seasonal cloths selected for their handle, performance, and purpose.

THE CUT IS SHAPED AROUND THE MAN.
Proportion, posture, shoulder line, trouser balance, and overall silhouette are refined through fitting, allowing the garment to feel natural rather than imposed.

At Michel’s Bespoke, each garment is cut and sewn in our Toronto atelier under the direction of Master Tailor Michel Karkar, whose training was shaped in Beirut before establishing his house in Toronto.
Our work is rooted in old-world tailoring: measured, disciplined, and deeply personal. Each garment is built for the individual, shaped over time through fitting, proportion, and handwork.
We specialise in full canvas construction, the traditional foundation of a serious tailored garment. A floating horsehair canvas is shaped between the cloth and lining, allowing the garment to breathe, move, and develop naturally with the wearer.
